No, Shade Empress is an online-only store. This allows us to offer a wider selection of beauty products and ship directly to our customers worldwide.

3. What payment methods do you accept?

4. Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Yes! We ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on the destination and the products ordered.

8. How long does shipping take?

Shipping times depend on the product category:

  • Wigs & Hair Extensions – Processing: 1-3 days, Shipping: 1-3 days (Fast Shipping)
  • Makeup – Processing: 2-4 days, Shipping: 5-10 days
  • Accessories (Nails, Lashes, Hair Tools, etc.) – Processing: 3-5 days, Shipping: 10-20 days
  • Hair Care Products – Processing: 1-3 days, Shipping: 3-7 days

9. How much does shipping cost?

  • Standard Shipping – Free on orders over £50
  • Flat Rate Shipping – Applies to orders under £50 (calculated at checkout).
  • Expedited Shipping – Available for select items at an additional cost.

10. Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?

Depending on your location, your order may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import taxes. Shade Empress is not responsible for these fees, so please check with your local customs office for details.

11. My package is delayed—what should I do?

12. Are your wigs made with real human hair?

Yes, all our wigs are made with 100% human hair. We do not sell synthetic wigs.

13. Do your wigs come pre-styled?

Our wigs arrive in their natural state, allowing you to style them as desired. You can bleach, dye, and heat-style them to achieve your preferred look.

14. Do the wigs have adjustable straps?

No, our wigs do not come with adjustable straps. However, they are designed to fit securely and can be customized for a snug fit.

15. How long do your wigs last?

With proper care, our human hair wigs can last 1-2 years. Regular maintenance, such as washing, conditioning, and storing them correctly, will extend their lifespan.

16. How should I care for my wig?

  • Wash your wig with sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.
  • Store it on a wig stand when not in use.
  • Use minimal heat to prevent damage.
  • Moisturize with lightweight oils to maintain softness and shine.

Makeup & Beauty Products

17. Are your makeup products cruelty-free?

Yes! We only source from suppliers who are cruelty-free.

18. Do you offer foundation shades for deeper skin tones?

Yes! We prioritize inclusive shades that cater to a wide range of skin tones.

19. Can I return makeup products?

For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns on makeup unless the product arrives damaged or defective. If you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours at info@shadeempress.com with photos.


Accessories (Nails, Lashes, Hair Tools, etc.)

20. Are the press-on nails reusable?

Yes! Many of our press-on nails are reusable if removed carefully. Simply store them and reapply with fresh nail glue.

21. Do the false lashes come with glue?

Some lash sets include glue, while others do not. Please check the product description before purchasing.


Hair Care Products

22. Are your hair care products suitable for curly and coily hair?

Absolutely! We select products specifically formulated for curly, coily, and textured hair, focusing on moisture, definition, and protection.

23. Do you sell sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners?

Yes! We offer a variety of sulfate-free and natural hair care products.


Returns & Refunds

24. What is your return policy?

We accept returns for eligible items within 14 days of delivery. Items must be:

  • Unused and in original packaging
  • In new condition

Exceptions: Makeup, lashes, and hair care products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

25. How do I request a return?

26. What if I receive a damaged or defective item?

If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours at info@shadeempress.com with photos, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
